Aimers Hardware Limited Lifetime Warranty

Dear Purchaser,
 
Congratulations on your purchase of an Aimers Hardware quality product.
 
We are committed to supplying premium kitchen hardware products and are confident in the quality of our materials and workmanship. For this reason, Aimers Hardware provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials or manufacturing for eligible products.
 
If a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace it with the same product or an equivalent product of equal quality and specification.
 
To make a warranty claim, please contact Aimers Hardware as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering the defect. Proof of purchase is required, and the defective product may need to be returned, freight prepaid, for inspection.
 
Warranty Coverage
 
This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to all non-electrical Aimers Hardware products unless otherwise stated.
 
Electrical and electronic products are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
 
This Warranty Does Not Apply If:
 
1. Any attempt has been made to repair the product by a person not authorised by Aimers Hardware.
2. The product has been modified, misused, incorrectly installed, improperly stored, neglected, or maintained contrary to the supplied instructions.
3. The damage results from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, abuse, corrosion, or use outside the intended purpose.
4. Proof of the original purchase cannot be provided.
 
Limitation of Liability
 
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Aimers Hardware will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss or damage arising from the use of its products. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product.
 
Consumer Rights
 
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and any other applicable New Zealand legislation. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies available under New Zealand law.
 
To maximise the life and performance of your product, please install, use, and maintain it in accordance with the instructions provided.

AIMERS HARDWARE SINKS WARRANTY POLICY

AVENZO Stainless Steel Sinks

Aimers Hardware proudly stands behind the quality of its AVENZO products and offers the following manufacturer’s warranty to the original purchaser.

AVENZO Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks

Aimers Hardware provides a Limited 25-Year Warranty on all AVENZO stainless steel kitchen sinks installed in normal residential applications.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a sink is found to be defective during the warranty period, Aimers Hardware will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product with the same model or an equivalent product of similar specification. The warranty covers the product only and does not include labour or installation costs.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies only if:

  • The sink has been installed in accordance with Aimers Hardware installation instructions.

  • The sink was inspected before installation.

  • The sink has been used only for normal domestic purposes.

  • The sink has been maintained and cleaned according to the recommended care instructions.

  • The original proof of purchase is provided.

  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation.

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage.

  • Damage resulting from dropping heavy objects onto the sink.

  • Commercial or industrial applications.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, chips, stains or minor surface marks that develop through normal use.

  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals, bleach, abrasive cleaners or improper maintenance.

  • Removal, reinstallation, freight, transport or labour costs.

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage.

Transportation of products to and from the place of purchase or warranty inspection remains the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty Inspection

Aimers Hardware reserves the right to inspect any product before approving a warranty claim.

Products returned for assessment should, where practical, include all supplied accessories and documentation. Original packaging is preferred where available.

The following accessories supplied with sinks are excluded from the 25-year sink warranty unless otherwise stated:

  • Basket strainer

  • Waste kit

  • Overflow assembly

  • Plumbing fittings

  • Other supplied accessories

Sink Accessories Warranty

The following accessories supplied with AVENZO sinks are warranted against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the original purchase date:

  • Basket strainer

  • Waste kit

  • Overflow assembly

  • Stainless steel accessories

Customer Responsibilities

To make a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Original dated proof of purchase.

  • Product details.

  • A description of the fault.

  • Clear photographs where requested.

Where applicable, proof that installation was carried out by a qualified plumber or suitably experienced installer may be requested.

Consumer Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and other applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes those statutory rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aimers Hardware’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product.

Aimers Hardware accepts no liability for:

  • Transport damage caused after products leave our control.

  • Labour or installation costs.

  • Property damage arising from improper installation or misuse.

  • Indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage.

  • Claims made by parties other than the original purchaser.
